Welcome to Ms. Kelarek’s Class!

Hey! My name is Hannah Kelarek and I am so excited to begin another year in Deer Park ISD. I teach reading, writing, and social studies. This will be my seventh year teaching at Dabbs, and my second year teaching 5th grade! I am so excited to make it a great year for both of us. I love all of the people I work with at Dabbs and enjoy being a part of Team Deer Park! 

I was born and raised in Salado, TX - a small town halfway between Austin and Waco. I also have the sweetest little dog you will ever meet. She is a Miniature Schnauzer who is just perfect. :)

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching sports, especially baseball (Go Rangers), shopping, traveling and being in the sunshine. I graduated from Sam Houston State University (Eat 'Em Up Kats) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Elementary Education. I also have my Master's Degree from Lamar University in Administration.
