Welcome!

I am the ELAR and Social Studies Instructional Coach at Dabbs. I work with teachers to help plan lessons and coach them in literacy practices.  I am originally from Oklahoma. I attended Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington, and I completed a Principal Certification program from Lamar University. This is my 20th year in education. I taught fifth grade for eleven years before moving to second grade for two years. This is my seventh year as the Literacy Coach at Dabbs.
