About Mrs. Carlile
Hello Dabbs students and families!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Carlile and I am the Social and Emotional Learning Counselor at Dabbs Elementary. The 25-26 school year is my 10th year as a school counselor, 6th year at Dabbs and my 17th year in education. I am so excited to continue on with the Dabbs students. They are all so wonderful!
As the SEL counselor, I conduct large group lessons with all students many times throughout the year using the Second Steps Curriculum. These lessons focus on Skills for Learning, Empathy, Emotion Management and Problem Solving. I also work with small groups for Emotion Regulation, Self-Esteem, Social Skills, Problem-Solving among other needed topics. I see individual students on an as needed basis.
