Mission and Vision

DABBS MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of Dabbs Elementary is to provide a safe, secure and caring learning environment in which all students grow academically, socially and emotionally to prepare them to reach their highest potential.

DABBS VISION STATEMENT:

Our vision is to develop a community where:
- Best teaching practices and frequent assessments ensure learning is taking place for all;
- Teachers consistently teach and model appropriate social behaviors and interactions;
- Learning is anchored by our district curriculum and the state learning standards (TEKS); and
- Students and teachers share ownership in creating a positive learning environment that encourages growth and prepares students for the challenges of the future.
