Welcome
I am looking forward to the 2023-2024 school year as a Math & Science teacher.
Education:
I was born and raised in the small town of Mermentau, Louisiana. I attended Mermentau Elementary School from K-7th grade and then went to Midland High School from 8th - 12th grade. After graduation, I attended McNeese State University and graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Two years later I earned a Master’s degree in computer science.

Teaching Experience:
Kindergarten for 3 years in Acadia Parish
Kindergarten for 2 years in Alief I.S.D.
First grade for 5 years in Fort Bend I.S.D.
First grade, Third grade, 4th grade, Math Intervention for 20 years in Deer Park I.S.D.
Family:
I am married to a wonderful husband of 33 years. We have a daughter, twin boys and a dog. I am also a proud Gammy to a two year old. I enjoy spending time with my family at our Lake House. I also like to travel, go to concerts, and workout (CrossFit).
